On May 30, the world’s largest martial arts organization will once again descend upon the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for an intriguing lineup of fights in Asia primetime.
ONE Friday Fights 110 features a mixture of world-class Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA bouts, each designed to deliver white-knuckle action.
In the headline attraction, Russian knockout artist Ilyas Musaev looks to keep his 100 percent finishing rate in ONE intact when he faces battle-tested Thai striker Worapon Lukjaoporongtom in a 142-pound Muay Thai scrap.
Both athletes have seen ups and downs in their respective ONE tenures, but with each man coming off an impressive victory, a win for either would do wonders for their climb toward a coveted six-figure contract and spot on the organization’s main roster.
Fans also won’t want to miss the 128-pound Muay Thai showdown between surging Thai standout Pansak Wor Wantawee and his talented compatriot Lamsing Sor Dechapan.
After suffering a defeat in his promotional debut, the 25-year-old Pansak has rattled off a trio of wins at ONE Friday Fights but is still in search of his first finish on the big stage.
Lamsing, meanwhile, has also gone 3-1 at ONE Friday Fights. He’ll come into this bout following a sensational second-round stoppage victory in March that captured the attention of ONE’s global audience.
And in 142-pound Muay Thai action, elite technician Komawut FA Group squares off with Turkish finisher Soner “Golden Boy” Sen.
Still just 26 years old, Komawut possesses a wealth of high-level experience and dangerous skills in all areas of striking. That well-rounded game will be tested against Sen’s ferocious, high-octane approach that’s earned him a strong 8-3 record at ONE Friday Fights.
Lower on the card, Ivan “Samurai” Gnizditskiy locks horns with undefeated Uzbek phenom Khurshidbek Bozarboev in a middleweight MMA bout that’s unlikely to need the judges, as both athletes have earned all of their professional wins by way of stoppage.
Russia’s Gnizdistkiy shined in his promotional debut in March at ONE Friday Fights 99, needing less than three minutes to overwhelm and decimate Kevin “Yasuke” Church.
“Samurai’s” terrifying power will come up against promotional newcomer Bozarboev, who hopes to build on his perfect 5-0 professional record and emphatically announce his arrival.
