The highly anticipated showdown between ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Di Bella and divisional Muay Thai king Prajanchai PK Saenchai on April 5 at ONE Friday Fights 58: Superbon vs. Grigorian II is officially off.

Originally billed as the co-main event at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the fight fell apart on the scales when Di Bella failed to pass hydration testing and ultimately decided to withdraw from the contest.

The Italian-Canadian Di Bella was scheduled to defend his crown against ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai.

ONE Championship released a statement regarding the bout’s cancellation:

“The Kickboxing World Title fight between Jonathan Di Bella and Prajanchai is off as Di Bella did not pass hydration tests and elected not to compete. The ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship is now vacant.”

Regardless of the recent turn of events, ONE Friday Fights 58 still promises to deliver an epic night of martial arts action.

The headline bout will see fierce rivals Superbon and Marat Grigorian battle for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title.
