Decho Outguns Pompet In Fiercely Contested ONE Friday Fights 138 Main Event
Decho Por Borirak and Pompet PongSuphan PK produced non-stop action in their flyweight Muay Thai main event at ONE Friday Fights 138, with the former ultimately doing enough to get his hand raised.
On Friday, January 16, in Asia primetime, the Thai sluggers left everything inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, to close out an entertaining night on the world’s largest martial arts organization’s first spectacle of the year while setting the bar high for the remainder of 2026.
Low kicks and body kicks came at blinding speed, both from Decho and Pompet, at the start of the tie. The former then landed a body punch, and his foe answered back with an elbow. The action only intensified in the second canto.
Decho absorbed an early one-two combination, but he responded quickly. The Singha Mawynn affiliate, who’s gone 3-1 on ONE Friday Fights, countered with supreme work in the clinch.
The 22-year-old drove multiple knees into the body and connected with punches in bunches. The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym warrior danced to the same beat, too. He kept action tight, but was outpaced and outvolumed for the rest of the round.

With the fight still hanging in the balance in the final frame, both men stayed in proximity to deliver another entertaining three minutes. Decho stuck to his promise, pushing forward more often and working at a higher pace, while his Thai compatriot waited for a chance to slam in with counters.
When the final bell sounded, Decho’s brilliant offense and work rate proved to be the decisive factor. All three judges at ringside scored it for the Singha Mawynn representative.
As a result, Decho improved to 49-21 in his career and moved a step closer to the coveted US$100,000 main roster contract.
