The upcoming ONE Heavyweight World Title main event showdown has captured the attention of former 13-time WWE Champion John Cena.

However, he isn’t the only wrestling superstar who will keep a close eye on the tilt.

This Saturday, 15 May, Arjan “Singh” Bhullar will challenge ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera for the gold at ONE: DANGAL, and Jinder Mahal has vested interest.

Mahal, a close friend of Bhullar’s, made history when he defeated Randy Orton for the WWE Title on 21 May 2017. In the process, he became the first WWE Champion of Indian descent.

Almost four years later to the day, “Singh” has an opportunity to defeat ONE Championship’s seemingly invincible heavyweight king and become the first-ever Indian Mixed Martial Arts World Champion in history, which is something that would thrill his dear pal.

“This is the ‘Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal, and I just want to give a special shoutout to Arjan ‘Singh’ Bhullar ahead of his fight,” the former WWE Champion said in a video message.

“Best of luck, brother. You’re gonna represent the 1.3 billion people in India and bring home that World Heavyweight Title. All the best.”

Vera may have Cena’s support, but Mahal is riding all the way with Bhullar. Watch ONE: DANGAL on Saturday and find out who leaves the Circle with the ONE Heavyweight World Title.
