Allycia Hellen Rodrigues To Defend Atomweight Muay Thai Gold Against Phetjeeja At ONE Fight Night 41
ONE Championship has unveiled a blockbuster World Title clash for ONE Fight Night 41 on Prime Video. Reigning queen Allycia Hellen Rodrigues stakes her ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship against atomweight kickboxing ruler Phetjeeja in the evening’s headline attraction.
The event will broadcast live in U.S. primetime on Friday, March 13, from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium, delivering a dream matchup between two of the division’s most explosive athletes.
Rodrigues enters this title defense riding tremendous momentum. The 27-year-old Brazilian mom-champ has won three straight since her lone promotional setback in September 2023.
Most recently, she destroyed Sweden’s Johanna Persson with a third-round knockout at ONE Fight Night 33 last July, earning a US$50,000 performance bonus. That stunning finish came five months after she stopped Ireland’s Marie McManamon via fourth-round technical knockout.
The Phuket Fight Club representative captured her throne by unseating Stamp Fairtex in her promotional debut back in August 2020. After an extended hiatus for the birth of her first child, Rodrigues returned in March 2023 to unify the gold against Janet “JT” Todd, becoming the division’s undisputed queen.
Now, the Brazilian standout faces her toughest challenge yet against an absolute phenom.
Standing across from her will be Phetjeeja, Thailand’s 24-year-old striking prodigy who brings a flawless 8-0 promotional record to this World Champion versus World Champion showdown.
The Team Mehdi Zatout affiliate is the reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion, having defeated legendary striker Anissa “C18” Meksen for the interim title in December 2023 before unifying the gold against Todd three months later.
“The Queen” recently returned to her Muay Thai roots at ONE Fight Night 38 last December, where she demolished Poland’s Martyna Dominczak via first-round technical knockout. That performance showcased why Phetjeeja remains one of the organization’s most feared competitors across multiple disciplines.
Phetjeeja’s remarkable journey began at age 7, training at Or Mee Khun gym — built by her father when no other facilities would train females. By age 10, she had compiled over 100 fights, 70 against boys, earning her the nickname “The Girl Who Could Defeat Boys” before becoming WMC Muay Thai World Champion at just 14.
The ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title clash at ONE Fight Night 41 on Prime Video this March promises fireworks, as Rodrigues’ World Championship experience and power meet Phetjeeja’s striking perfection and elite technical skills in Bangkok.
