Akif Guluzada Vs. Johan Estupinan High-Octane Flyweight Kickboxing Firefight Added To ONE Fight Night 44

Akif Guluzada and Johan Estupinan will lock horns at ONE Fight Night 44

ONE Championship has added a mouth-watering flyweight kickboxing contest to the already stacked ONE Fight Night 44: Jarvis vs. Rungrawee II on Prime Video lineup.

Azerbaijani phenom Akif “King” Guluzada and Colombian fan favorite Johan “Panda Kick” Estupinan will collide on Friday, June 26, live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium.

Guluzada brings a perfect 5-0 ONE record and impressive 20-3 career slate into this significant clash.

The 20-year-old from Team Mehdi Zatout and Team Chingiz Allazov is a high-paced, aggressive fighter who displays remarkable versatility by fighting effectively in both orthodox and southpaw stances. His promotional journey began in the ONE Friday Fights event series in 2024, where he immediately impressed with three back-to-back kickboxing and Muay Thai victories.

His third consecutive victory came in spectacular fashion against Puengluang Baanramba — an electrifying spinning elbow that captivated fans and earned him a life-changing $100,000 main roster contract. That knockout highlighted his finishing ability and aggressive approach that makes him dangerous for any opponent.

Since his promotion to the main roster, Guluzada has maintained his winning momentum with two consecutive unanimous decision victories. He methodically outpointed Sean “The One” Climaco before defeating Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi in equally dominant fashion, establishing himself as one of flyweight’s most complete strikers.

Now the undefeated star continues his winning streak with clear intentions to establish himself in the division. A victory over an experienced opponent like Estupinan would further cement his title contention and position him as a legitimate contender.

Standing across from him is a fighter whose promotional journey has taken him from dream start to setback and back again.

Estupinan is a 23-year-old from JCFernandez and Team CSK who carries the distinction of being the first-ever Colombian athlete to compete in ONE Championship, a trailblazing achievement matched by the quality of what he delivered in his early promotional appearances.

His twin brother Jordan Estupinan is also a ONE fighter, making the Estupinan family one of the most unique stories in the promotion’s history

Johan’s first five promotional bouts produced five victories over top-tier opposition. He had a remarkable run that included a win over American-Malaysian sensation Johan “Jojo” Ghazali in 2025 and established himself as one of the most dangerous aggressive strikers on the flyweight Muay Thai roster.

His trademark come-out-firing style, built on relentless forward pressure and a constant search for the finish, has made him a fan favorite from the moment he arrived.

Two consecutive losses have since interrupted that momentum, and the 23-year-old arrives at ONE Fight Night 44 with a burning desire to rediscover the form that once made him one of the most talked-about names in the division.

Guluzada’s undefeated promotional run and aggressive attacking style meet Estupinan’s in-ring brilliance and finishing power. Both fighters possess the ability to win by decision or knockout, creating potential for explosive action throughout their contest.
