‘A Thrilling Ride For The Fans’ – Seksan Promises Fireworks In Pakorn Trilogy At ONE Friday Fights 147

Four-time Muay Thai World Champion Seksan “The Man Who Yields To No One” Or Kwanmuang is not the kind of man who accepts a losing streak quietly.

The 37-year-old has never lost four fights in a row throughout his 203-78 career, and he plans to end his three-fight skid in emphatic fashion at ONE Friday Fights 147.

He returns against fellow legend and multi-time Muay Thai World Champion Pakorn PK Sialaytentmungkorn in bantamweight Muay Thai action live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, March 20.

Three successive losses have tested his resolve but done nothing to dull his fire. Seksan has been through storms before, and every time he has found his way back:

“This fight is huge for me. I’m determined to get back in the win column and prove that I can still compete at the highest level. With my work ethic and my warrior spirit, I’m confident I’ll come out on top.”

The hunger has never wavered. What has evolved is his perspective.

After throwing himself into all-out wars for two decades, Seksan acknowledges that his body is starting to ask questions his spirit refuses to answer. His response is not to retreat but to adapt.

“The Man Who Yields To No One” told onefc.com:

“I think my body is just starting to show its age. I’ve been fighting in this all-out aggressive style for over 10 years now.

“Moving forward, I’m going to focus more on my defense, but don’t expect me to change my style — I’m still going to bring the fight to them. Technical boxing just isn’t my thing.”

That added defensive discipline could be the difference against the 35-year-old Pakorn, one of the most technically gifted muay femurs in the sport. This will not be their first collision either.

The two have already shared the ring twice, in back-to-back five-round thrillers in 2014 that left nothing on the table. Seksan took the first decision in April of that year, while Pakorn evened the series a month later inside Lumpinee.

More than a decade on, the trilogy arrives, and Seksan hasn’t forgotten a moment of it:

“In our first two fights, I was the one pushing the pace, and Pakorn didn’t back down. He stood his ground and traded with me toe-to-toe. It was so intense that the whole stadium stood up and cheered both times.

“After the second fight, I thought we’d never cross paths again because our careers were heading in different directions. So, when the offer came, I accepted immediately because I knew this fight would be an absolute banger.”

Seksan Reveals Blueprint To Outgun Pakorn In Rubber Match

Pakorn PK Sialaytentmungkorn will certainly be ready for war as he steps onto the global stage in search of his 198th victory. What he may not be ready for is what Seksan Or Kwanmuang is hiding inside it.

The 37-year-old has spent his career sharpening weapons that arrive without warning and leave opponents wondering what just happened.

He promises to bring the full collection to this legend vs. legend clash on Friday:

“I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve — spinning elbows, flying knees, and the catfish fin elbow.

“I want to show them off if the timing is right. As for a finish, I’d say it’s 50-50. If someone lands clean, it’s lights out. But even if it goes the full three rounds, it’s going to be a thrilling ride for the fans.”

Those tricks need to find their mark against one of the sharpest defensive minds in the sport, who has spent recent years as a key mentor to inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka.

Pakorn’s fight IQ is elite. His technical depth is formidable. And yet, as Seksan knows better than anyone, the Pakorn who shows up in big fights throws that IQ out the window and simply gets after it.

Seksan said:

“Pakorn is a very well-rounded fighter with a high fight IQ. He could have played it safe and outpointed me before, but he chose to stand and trade. I really respect his heart for being brave enough to scrap with me like that.

“This third fight is going to be even crazier because we’re such a perfect match. Now that it’s only three rounds and we’re using small gloves, I’m confident the action will be so intense the fans will be on their feet again.”
