Just months after ONE Championship, Asia’s largest sports media property, released incredible social media and viewership statistics highlighting the immense growth of the company in 2017, the promotion has once again captured headlines with a new release of numbers.

Asia’s leading MMA promotion ONE Championship have announced three blockbuster fights for November in what looks set to be the organisation’s biggest ever month.

The newly-minted featherweight kingpin is set to challenge Filipino martial arts superstar Eduard “Landslide” Folayang for the ONE Lightweight World Championship in the main event of ONE: LEGENDS OF THE WORLD, which takes place at the 20,000-seater SM Mall of Asia Arena this November.

ONE Championship has just announced the complete bout card for ONE: HERO’S DREAM, set for the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium on 3 November. In the main event, ONE Middleweight World Champion “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang of Myanmar will take on Muay Thai heavyweight world champion Alain “The Panther” Ngalani of Hong Kong in an open weight contest. The ONE Middleweight World Championship will not be on the line.

Former Thai national wrestling champion, Kritsada “Dream Man” Kongsrichai admits he has definitely undergone a transition period, when he made the move to professional martial arts in 2014. Kongsrichai is scheduled to appear in the ONE Championship cage this 9 December, when the promotion returns to the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand for ONE: WARRIORS OF THE WORLD. Kongsrichai’s opponent has yet to be announced.

30-year-old Sagetdao Petpayathai is a Muay Thai specialist and a four-time Lumpinee Stadium champion who has won every major title in Muay Thai, but it’s his work inside the professional martial arts cage that has recently taken notice.

When Ben Askren leaves the cage for the final time later this year, inevitably there will be questions of what could have been. At 33, the ONE Championship welterweight champion has decided to retire from mixed martial arts and will meet Shinya Aoki for what is set to be his last fight on 24 November, hoping to extend his flawless professional record to 18-0.

Jakarta. Jakarta will host four fighting bouts sponsored by Singapore-based mixed martial arts promoter ONE Championship in 2018, compared to just two events this year. ONE Championship, the largest mixed martial arts promoter in Asia, held its latest event in Indonesia on Saturday, when Kazakhstan’s Kairat Akhmetov won by split decision over Filipino Geje Eustaquio in the main bout. Jakarta will host ONE Championship events in January, May, September and December of 2018.
