A multiple-generation lethwei martial artist, Thar A Thal Ta Pwint grew up in Mandalay as a farmer, but one day he saw a lethwei bout at a festival, and decided to try his hand in the ring as well.

Being a former competitor himself, it was no surprise that Thar A Thal Ta Pwint’s father encouraged him greatly to start competing professionally, and he has since run up an impressive winning record.

He then trained in mixed martial arts diligently in preparation of his ONE Championship debut, and is working hard on his takedowns and takedown defence in order to successfully represent Myanmar on the global stage.
