Indonesian Wushu Champion Guntur first began training in the discipline in high school and excelled in the art, rapidly rising to the top and becoming a national champion.

His family had always been poor, so he decided to become a professional martial artist in 2014 to help provide for their future. In addition to his achievements in wushu competitions, he has also had success in kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts.

Guntur is motivated by his responsibilities as a husband and father to be successful in mixed martial arts. He has learned from the mistakes of his past, and he is now eager to face the toughest competition of his life on the global stage of ONE Championship on the way towards an eventual World Title shot.
