The Best Pictures From ONE X

Angela Lee celebrates her successful defense of the ONE Atomweight World Championship with her husband Bruno Pucci and her father Ken Lee

This past Saturday, 26 March, the Singapore Indoor Stadium became the mecca of mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling as it played host to ONE X — ONE Championship’s 10th-anniversary spectacle.

Part I featured two submission grappling contests and the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Final. Part II, on the other hand, saw the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title switch hands and the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship remain with it’s rightful king.

These thrilling bouts ushered in the Grand Finale, wherein a legend bid farewell to competitive Muay Thai, an MMA titan won a special rules super-fight with a second-round rear-naked choke, and the organization’s first mother-slash-World Champion retained her ONE Women’s Atomweight World Title by surviving an early onslaught.

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong was spot on in saying that ONE X would be an event that generates conversations five, ten, even 20 years from now.

To relive all the pulsating action at ONE’s first event with a live audience since the pandemic started, check out this gallery of the night’s best pictures, courtesy of our Circle-side photographers.
