ONE Championship closed out its U.S. primetime event calendar in style, as ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu electrified Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium this past Friday, December 5.

There was a little bit of everything at the action-packed event, including highlight-reel knockouts, brilliant submissions, back-and-forth encounters, and historic moments.

Physical: Asia star Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu finished Fabricio Andrade in the headline attraction to claim the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Title. In the process, he became Mongolia’s second MMA World Champion and earned a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Diogo “Baby Shark” Reis also left Lumpinee Stadium with gold, as the Brazilian overwhelmed Japanese grappler Daiki Yonekura with a slick performance to capture the ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Title.

Plus, Australian BJJ pioneer Lachlan Giles forced BJJ GOAT Marcelo Garcia to tap out in their lightweight submission grappling dream match. The “Giant Killer” then announced his retirement from competition, leaving the global fan base with a memory they soon won’t forget.
