Zafer Sayik

Zafer Sayik is one of the finest Muay Thai and kickboxing exponents in Europe today. 

Born in Gumushane, Turkey, Sayik began his martial arts journey in taekwondo at just 8 years old. 

The skills he learned as a youngster translated perfectly into kickboxing and Muay Thai, and he went on to capture a staggering 13 Turkish kickboxing championships and multiple European titles throughout his career. 

Alongside his burgeoning fighting career, he also runs the Winners Training Studio in Bursa, Turkey, where he passes on his bevy of tricks to the next generation of martial artists. 

Sayik possesses blinding speed and a taste for flashier techniques, making him a perfect fit for the talent rich ONE Championship roster. 

A string of ultra-impressive victories saw him catch the promotion’s attention in 2024, and he will make his debut at ONE 166: Qatar on Friday, March 1. 

At the historic event, the Turkish standout plans to make a big impression when he takes on bantamweight Muay Thai contender Vladimir Kuzmin in a 147.75-pound catchweight contest.
