Antonio Mammarella

Antonio Mammarella was born and raised in the small town of Vacri, Italy, to a family of blue-collar workers.

His father plied his trade as a farmer and car mechanic, while his mother worked as a tailor. Watching his parents take pride in their respective crafts gave Mammarella a deep sense of appreciation for hard work.

With that philosophy in mind, he joined a mixed martial arts gym at 11 years old and began honing his own handicraft under the esteemed Angelo Pompeo.

After 15 sensational bouts, Mammarella became the hottest amateur talent in Italy’s MMA scene. But because the country still lacked an established MMA industry, he relocated to Australia and made his professional debut there in December 2023. He scored a second-round stoppage in his new home, proving that his decision to dedicate his life to the all-encompassing sport was the right one.

Now, Mammarella has the opposite problem he once faced, because the entire world will be watching as he attempts to shake up ONE Championship’s lightweight MMA division.
