Chiang Mai Muay Thai Champion Pongsiri Mitsatit hails from the Northeast of Thailand, and he was born to a family of farmers in humble surroundings. After repeated encounters with a neighborhood bully, he decided to pick up Muay Thai to learn how to protect himself, as well as help to support the family financially.
Through his hard work and talent, he soon racked up an impressive 72-17 record, and even won a Muay Thai Championship. In pursuit of better opportunities to bring his family out of poverty, he made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2014, and he has rapidly emerged as one of Thailand’s most exciting talents.
Despite his age, Mitsatit already holds a stellar professional record, including several TKO wins in the ONE Championship Circle. He currently trains at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, where he works tirelessly on his ground game while adapting his elite Muay Thai skills for battle against the world’s finest martial artists.
