Saiful Merican Attempts To Take A T-Rex Home

Saiful Merican stands ready for action.

Saiful “The Vampire” Merican had his eyes set on his most colossal opponent to date — a tyrannosaurus rex.

In a recent social media post, the Malaysian bantamweight wrote, “I asked my son Ariez Isa what does he want for his birthday this month. He said, ‘Dinasourrrr.’”

Happy to oblige, Merican posed for a picture with an incredible art installation that shows a T-Rex popping out of its frame as if it were coming to life.

The Kuala Lumpur native posed as if he were pulling it by the rope attached to its collar and dragging it away for his son as a birthday gift.

Merican has always had a big heart. Following his victory at ONE: WAR OF NATIONS in March 2014, he donated his winnings to his opponent Khim Dima, whose sister’s home in Cambodia burned down.

Although a T-Rex may not be the safest choice in a pet, “The Vampire” shows the importance of family and being a great father by entertaining his son with the photo.
