Superlek set the tone for the contest with thunderous leg and body kicks, which sent Panpayak into the ropes. “The Angel Warrior” found himself on the defense, but he managed to starch his foe with a straight left.

The Kiatmoo9 representative shook it off and responded with a straight right of his own, tacking on a body shot and knee for good measure. The round ended with “The Kicking Machine” delivering more punishing right kicks.

At the start of round two, Superlek continued to chop away at his longtime rival’s leg and body with kicks.

However, Panpayak showed a little more craft and stunned his opponent with a left kick-left punch combination that hinged Superlek’s head. It only startled “The Kicking Machine” momentarily, though, and the man from Kiatmoo9 rode out the rest of the frame by dishing out some more walloping right kicks.

Despite spending a good part of the first two rounds on the back foot, “The Angel Warrior” had some success in the third and final stanza.

He began to pump out that effective left hand of his, but Superlek soon took control of the action and went back to what had been working for him throughout the entire contest – his right kicks.

After the final bell, all three judges awarded the unanimous decision to Superlek, which bumped his record to 125-28-2.

He remains unbeaten in ONE, and the victory over the #1-ranked Muay Thai flyweight contender on Friday could put him in line for a shot at ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.
