Phoe Thaw Makes Donation To Help Protect Healthcare Heroes

Myanmar mixed martial arts star Phoe Thaw prays before his bout in Japan

As the world continues its battle with COVID-19, many individuals around the globe have stepped up to answer the call of civic duty.

Phoe “Bushido” Thaw is one of those many individuals, as he continues to volunteer and provide help in his native Yangon, Myanmar.

Most recently, the ONE Championship featherweight athlete donated face masks to a local hospital to help healthcare workers continue their courageous work.

Humanitarianism is important to Phoe Thaw. In fact, he has always served others.

The Yangon resident has previously volunteered as a teacher, organized frequent blood drives, and donated emergency supplies to areas affected by conflict and natural disasters in his homeland.

Also, in April, “Bushido” went to a local village where he delivered food to those in need.

The positivity and encouragement shown by the featherweight is inspiring.

In the face of the global pandemic, Phoe Thaw is again showing his pure heart by stepping up to give back and helping medical professionals get supplies when they need it the most.
