Meet The 4 Guest CEOs Confirmed For ‘The Apprentice’

Chatri Sityodtong hosts 'The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition'

The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition is scheduled to air around the globe in the fourth quarter of 2020, and the reality television program will feature plenty of star power from the business world.

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong will host the show, while ONE’s Head of Product, Niharika Singh, will join him as an advisor.

Meanwhile, 12 of Asia’s top CEOs will be featured as guests on the program – and the following four have already been confirmed.

Patrick Grove, Catcha Group

Patrick Grove was the first guest CEO to be confirmed.

He is the Co-Founder and Group CEO of Catcha Group, Southeast Asia’s leading internet company. Catcha Group’s portfolio includes iProperty Group, iCar Asia, Frontier Digital Ventures, Common Ground, and Wild Digital.

“[I’m] super pumped to work with Chatri to find the next entrepreneurial superstars,” Grove said. “ONE Championship has done an amazing job finding fighting superstars, and I’m sure together, Chatri and I will find entrepreneurial superstars.”

Ankiti Bose, Zilingo

The second guest to be announced was Ankiti Bose, the Co-Founder and CEO of Zilingo.

At the age of 23, Bose co-founded the fashion tech platform with Dhruv Kapoor. Since launching Zilingo in 2015, the two have worked hard to make it one of the largest e-commerce businesses in Asia.

“I am thrilled to join Chatri on the show,” Bose said. “It will be one of the most exhilarating experiences for the contestants and we look forward to discovering some of the brightest minds among them.”

Anthony Tan, Grab

Nearly two weeks ago, Anthony Tan, the Co-Founder and CEO of Grab, was confirmed as the third guest CEO for The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition.

In 2012, Tan and co-founder Tan Hooi Ling launched Grab, a mobile app that connects users who need a ride to taxi drivers and private hire cars for a small fee.

The business exploded throughout the region, prompting its main competitor, Uber, to sell its Southeast Asia operations to them.

“The ONE platform Chatri and his team have built is nurturing champions and inspiring young people across Asia every day,” Tan said.

“As a business builder, I am excited to participate in The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition as a guest CEO, to share my learnings and connect with the next wave of aspiring entrepreneurs who are determined to learn, prove themselves, and make a positive impact on the community.”

Sudhir Agarwal, Everise

The most recent guest CEO announcement was Sudhir Agarwal, the Founder and CEO of Everise.

Everise, which was formed in 2016, is a global experience company with its headquarters based in Singapore and offices all around the world.

In 2018, the company partnered with Microsoft to develop artificial intelligence solutions for the BPO industry, becoming an unstoppable force in the field.

“Everise is excited to partner with Chatri and ONE Championship because we identify with their singleness of purpose – to keep their core values close to the heart of their business,” Agarwal said.

“Personally, I am thrilled with the opportunity to be a part of The Apprentice, to get to know the contestants, and to counsel them, sharing with them my experiences.”
