Reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet “JT” Todd continued her quest for a second belt with a stellar three-round showcase against #4-ranked atomweight Muay Thai contender Alma Juniku.

The exciting Muay Thai contest was dead even in the first round. Both women gauged their opponent’s timing and distance while setting a high pace with constant output.

But Todd, who is also the #2-ranked Muay Thai contender in the atomweight division, made key adjustments and came out with a methodical approach in the second round.

After reading Juniku like a best-selling novel, Todd pressured the Aussie to the Circle Wall. And when Juniku’s left arm lowered, “JT” threw a dynamite straight right hand that exploded on the jawline for the bout’s only knockdown.

The Boxing Works product avoided a firefight in the third frame and used her intellect to make all the proper reads en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Following the win, Todd now eyes the Muay Thai crown – and a true atomweight super-fight against the division’s reigning Muay Thai queen, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

Wait for the SHOCKING SUBMISSION that ended Maira Mazar 🆚 Jenelyn Olsim!

ONE Warrior Series veteran Jenelyn Olsim made an instant impact on the global stage by giving #5-ranked Maira Mazar a taste of her own medicine.

Olsim was in Mazar’s face from the opening bell with controlled aggression and then rocked the Brazilian with a beauty of an overhand right that dropped her to the canvas.

Though she didn’t get that first-round finish, the Filipina let it be known that she was here to shake up the women’s strawweight mixed martial arts division.

After a close second round in which Mazar pushed the pace and secured a late takedown, she rushed out quickly in the final frame. The decision would prove costly.

As the Evolve talent tried to score another takedown, Olsim calmly slid her right arm under Mazar’s chin against the Circle Wall and secured a power guillotine. The Brazilian recognized the danger as they hit the canvas, but it was too late.

With the power guillotine locked up, Mazar had no choice but to tap at the 41-second mark of the third round. Olsim’s dazzling upset will sure make other strawweight contenders take notice of the new player on the scene.

Roshan Mainam 🆚 Aziz Calim ended REAL QUICK 💯😱

“The Indian Notorious” Roshan Mainam continued to make it look easy inside the Circle, as the Indian wrestling sensation added a first-round submission to his 100 percent finishing rate against Aziz “The Krauser” Calim in their flyweight mixed martial arts bout.

Mainam quickly closed the distance and got his arms around Calim. With a body lock against the Circle Wall, the Evolve representative used his hip to disrupt the balance of “The Krauser” and complete the takedown.

The Indian remained patient while keeping a strong base on top of Calim, and when the Filipino-Indonesian gave up his back, Mainam put the hooks in and flattened him out. Finally, he sunk his left arm under Calim’s chin and squeezed to get the tap.

The official end came at 2:45 of the first round, as Mainam picked up his third submission in three fights since joining The Home Of Martial Arts.
