Three-time MAX Muay Thai World Champion Fabrice Delannon has overcome an incredible amount of adversity to achieve success in his martial arts dreams. Born in French Guiana, Delannon moved to Paris as a child, and was inspired by legends the likes of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. to begin boxing at the age of 12.
Boxing gave him strength, both physically and mentally. The French Guyanese athlete equipped himself with self-defense skills, but also gained confidence from his training. As a result, he was in the gym every day – both before and after school – doing what he loved. When he was 22 years old, everything changed, when he stumbled upon the art of Muay Thai, and fell in love with it immediately.
He immersed himself entirely in the “art of eight limbs,” and has spent almost the entire past decade living and training in Thailand. Now representing the world-famous Fairtex team, Delannon has built up an impressive Muay Thai record, which he claims would have been twice as successful had he not contracted debilitating respiratory problems. Now that he’s fully healthy, Delannon takes his place among the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series, and is determined to make a name for himself on the global stage.
