ONE: HERO’S ASCENT will now feature a flyweight ONE Super Series kickboxing bout between Josh “Timebomb” Tonna and Hiroki Akimoto, as well as a middleweight mixed martial arts match-up featuring Reinier De Ridder and Fan “King Kong Warrior” Rong.
The event will take place at the Mall Of Asia Arena on 25 January.
Akimoto arrives in The Home Of Martial Arts as one of the hottest properties from Japan.
The 26-year-old is a WFKO Karate World Champion known for his crisp technique and knockout power, which he has used to surge to a perfect 19-0 professional kickboxing record.
