“The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan (15-1) is known for her incredible punching power, and that was on full display at ONE: KINGS OF COURAGE in January.

The Chinese star collided with unbeaten Singaporean Tiffany “No Chill” Teo in Jakarta, Indonesia, and used her phenomenal boxing to knock her out and capture the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight World Championship.

Although the durable Teo was able to survive Xiong’s onslaught throughout the first three stanzas, she absorbed too much damage, and finally wilted in the fourth round.

“The Panda” unloaded with punches, and a decisive overhand right sent “No Chill” to the ground. The referee dove in at the 2:17 mark, signaling Xiong’s latest stoppage win, and the beginning of her illustrious title reign.

In the main event of ONE: BEYOND THE HORIZON, “The Panda” will look to thwart Brazilian challenger Samara Santos (12-5-1) with another finish.

In April 2017, Honorio “The Rock” Banario (13-6) stepped into the cage for his lightweight clash with Czech warrior Jaroslav Jartim at ONE: KINGS OF DESTINY in Manila, Philippines.

The former ONE Featherweight World Champion predicted he would win by submission, but he used his striking to score a beautiful knockout.

After a grappling-heavy first round, Banario went back to his wrestling in the second frame in an attempt to wear down the Czech with strikes and submission attempts. However, once his adversary reversed the position, the Filipino bulldozed his way back to his feet.

Jartim then attempted to drive his rival backward with a kick to the body, but as he did so, “The Rock” responded with a blistering cross to the body and left hook that left his foe flat on the canvas. The bout was waved off at the 1:31 mark of round two.

Look for Banario to try and replicate that emphatic finish in Shanghai against the knockout artist below.

The last time Amir Khan (10-3) competed was at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS in May, and he gave his home crowd a performance to remember.

He welcomed South Korea’s Sung Jong Lee to the ONE cage, and in front of his countrymen at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, he extended his record for most knockouts in ONE history to eight.

Lee – a NAGA No-Gi Grappling Champion – displayed his jiu-jitsu skills throughout the contest as he repeatedly threatened the local favorite with submissions.

In the second round, the South Korean star threatened with a deep leg lock attempt, but Khan was able to escape. As he got free, the Singaporean unleashed a storm of ground strikes that immediately caused his foe to cover up. The referee waved the bout off at 3:39 of round two.

Khan will look to extend his knockout record at ONE: BEYOND THE HORIZON.

Every knockout artist wants to end the bout quickly and dramatically, but in January, Team Lakay’s Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly (10-5) could not have anticipated he would break the record for the fastest stoppage victory in the featherweight division.

In front of his countrymen at ONE: GLOBAL SUPERHEROES in Manila, he faced then-unbeaten Cambodian debutant Meas Meul, and wasted no time in entertaining the masses.

Soon after the contest began, Kelly countered an inside leg kick with a three-strike combination. He peppered his foe with a cross, followed by a left hook, and then a head kick. The final strike saw Kelly’s knee connect with Meul’s chin, which instantly put him to sleep.

The time of the stoppage was 21 seconds into round one, which was the fastest stoppage victory in the featherweight division until Li Kai Wen broke it in June.

At ONE: BEYOND THE HORIZON, Kelly draws former World Title challenger Christian “The Warrior” Lee (9-2).

There are many different ways to knock out an opponent in a Muay Thai bout.

In his flyweight battle with Rui Botelho at ONE: PINNACLE OF POWER in Macau, Japan’s Yukinori Ogasawara (15-4-4) demonstrated one of the most impressive methods seen in ONE Super Series yet.

Late in the second round, Botelho was landing a barrage of hooks on his rival’s body, but Ogasawara responded in dazzling fashion. He planted his left foot, quickly turned counterclockwise, and smashed the Portuguese athlete with a bout-ending spinning back elbow.

The stoppage, which occurred at 2:54 of the second round, was one of the most memorable in ONE Super Series yet.

Ogasawara will look to drop jaws with another highlight-reel knockout when he collides with two-time Muay Thai World Champion Hakim Hamech (42-8) in Shanghai.
