Myanmar National Lethwei Champion Thway Thit Aung comes from a rural agricultural background, but has literally fought his way out of poverty as a lethwei star. His father passed away when he was a child, and he began working as a farmer before establishing himself as one of the country’s best martial artists.

A lifelong fan of Myanmar’s national striking art, Thway Thit Aung knew from an early age that he wanted to be a professional competitor. He is a Golden Belt Champion who is known for his devastating knees, and is a veteran of over 50 lethwei matches with just one loss, highlighting his high level of skill.

At ONE: KINGDOM OF WARRIORS, he made his mixed martial arts debut, and showcased his elite striking to knock out two opponents in a single night to win the ONE Myanmar Lightweight Tournament.
