Chinese National Wrestling Champion Liu Deligerihu is from Tongliao, in Inner Mongolia’s Horqin Grassland. He is the son of farmers, and was a poor student who got into a lot of fights as a child. That all changed in 2012, when he learnt discipline after discovering wrestling, and fell in love with the sport.

He soon proved to be a phenomenal talent, and even won a national championship to establish himself as the best wrestler in the country – an impressive feat given how wrestling is an incredibly popular sport in Inner Mongolia.

In search of a new challenge, Liu began training to make his professional cage debut in 2016, and has diligently added to his growing skill set. Now that he has made it to the global stage of ONE Championship, he is excited to show his true potential, and wants to do Inner Mongolia proud by becoming a role model for youths back home to follow.
