Top Storylines To Follow Ahead Of ‘Apprentice’ Episode 5

ONE Championship | April 14, 2021 |

In just a few more days, the remaining global candidates will continue to battle for the coveted one-year, US$250,000 contract to work under ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Episode 5 of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” airs on AXN at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, 15 April, and there are some key developments fans should know about before the show hits the airwaves.

With that said, here are the storylines to follow as “The Apprentice” and its global candidates continue their conquest for business greatness.

Another Double Elimination On The Table?

On Episode 4 of “The Apprentice,” Chatri sent two global candidates home.

Both Sho Takei and Teirra Kamolvattanavith from Team Valor competed valiantly in the physical and business challenges, but the ONE Chairman and CEO felt Sho wasn’t showing that he really needed to win the competition.

As for Teirra, Chatri felt she didn’t have a strong enough reason for staying on the show. With that, both of them were sent packing.

Will the double elimination turn into a trend on Episode 5?

Joy And Nazee’s Growing Conspiracy

Ever since Episode 1 of “The Apprentice,” Joy Koh and Nazee Sajedi formed a close alliance.

Now that we’re almost halfway through the show, it seems that the two women are using their unspoken partnership to conspire against two other Team Conquest newcomers.

When Chatri sent Jessica Ramella and Kexin Ye to Team Conquest at the beginning of Episode 3, the four women bumped heads as soon as the business challenge kicked off.

The women couldn’t decide who was going to create the pitch deck, and in the end, they hastily scraped one together, further disjointing the four women and their team.

Clinton Continues To Upset Candidates

No matter which team Clinton Tudor finds himself on, he’s having trouble jiving with the rest of the candidates.

The trouble started early in the season, when Clinton was on Team Valor. He often bumped heads with Monica Millington and Irina Chadsey during the business challenges.

He felt a moment of relief when he was moved to – and accepted by – Team Conquest. But that only lasted one episode.

Soon, even his new team members couldn’t work well with him, and he was once again ostracized in the boardroom, this time by Niraj Puran Rao.

Team Valor’s Fading Numbers

Each team started “The Apprentice” with eight global candidates, but heading into Episode 5, Team Conquest has seven candidates left and Team Valor only has four.

With the way things have been working out, we can be almost certain that Chatri will send another of Team Conquest’s members to Team Valor to even out the playing field, but who will it be?

And whoever it is, will they be able to turn Team Valor’s luck around, or will his or her own luck run out as they succumb to the losing streak the team has faced?

Youngest CEO Yet

On Episode 5, “Apprentice” fans will be treated to the smarts and savvy of the youngest guest CEO that will appear on the show.

Co-Founder and CEO of Zilingo Ankiti Bose will act as guest advisor to Chatri and Niharika Singh during the team’s pitches.

At just 23 years old, Ankiti co-founded Zilingo, which helps small merchants and traders thrive in the modern digital world.

She’ll no doubt be able to pass on her advice to the global candidates as they try to thrive in the boardroom.
