When he was 13 years old, Jaroslav Jartim took up boxing, inspired in part by the film ‘Rocky’. At the age of 17, he added training in other disciplines to his arsenal after losing a street fight to a local youth, and soon became smitten with martial arts.
He made his professional cage debut in 2011, and although his early bouts were mostly in the Czech Republic or neighboring Hungary, he soon went international, and has competed all over the world since 2015. A former UGB Super Fight Champion, Jartim is considered one of the top lightweight competitors in the Czech Republic, and is determined to make a name for himself in ONE Championship.
